Genesis 2:7
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

The first figure of the world made by word of God was pleasing to God. If God judges that world, it means the world lost the original figure of God's pleasure. The world lost the orighnal figure which was created first couldn't be pleasant go God. As if broken bowl were attached again, it couln't be back the first thing. The world can't be return the original figure. Therefore, there is the judge of God in the world. However. God already chooses his own people which is rescued out of the judgement.  And He calls them, He would like to create the kingdom of God.
This is said the forgiveness of God. What the word of God spreads the earth is the purpose to call his own.

After God created all things of this earth, he lastly created man. In other words, everything of this earth was perfectly prepared when man was created. Accordingly, man had only to live blessed, as a being to whom God had created and given all things.

Then, what is required of man, who is in a position to enjoy the things received from God? It is gratitude for the things God has given.

Just like in the Psalm 136:5-9, "who by his understanding made the heavens, His love endures forever. who spread out the earth upon the waters, His love endures forever. who made the great lights--His love endures forever. the sun to govern the day, His love endures forever. the moon and stars to govern the night; His love endures forever"

Realizing the mercy of God and being grateful while looking upon His creation is what pleases God.
The purpose for God's creation of man can be found in Genesis chapter 1, verses 26 to 28.

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

By creating man in the image of God, He wanted man to rule over all the world's creation.
Man was created according to God's image and according to His figure. This does not mean that man was created according to God's outer appearance.  God is a spirit; that is, He has no physical body. Because He is one without a physical body, He does not have an outer appearance that is like man, and so it should not be interpreted that man's image was created according to God's (outer) figure.

Then what do God's image and God's figure signify? Although it may be a difficult subject matter, it is something one must know to know what God's purpose was for creating man and to know how humans are living apart from the purpose they were created for by God, so please focus and try to understand it well.

First, image and figure are not separate things but they must be understood as the same meaning. Image means figure and figure means image. Therefore, all one needs to know is, "what is image?"
God's image signifies life that only God possesses. Therefore, to be created according to God's image means being created as a being with the life of God. In this way, God created man as a being with God's life to rule over the world. This is why God created man. Therefore, for man to live according to the purpose he was created for by God is to live as a being created in God's image, ruling over the world in line with God's plans.

Then why did man have to be created in God's image to rule over the world? Man was made to rule over this world to display God's power on this world He has created. God rose up men who were created according to His image so that the world, which was created through His words, could remain under the rule of God.

Therefore God said this : "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
The command here to be fruitful, increase in number, and fill the earth means to be fruitful and to increase in number as a being with the image of God, or in other words, the life of God. Also, to subdue the earth means not to surrender under anything on the earth as a being with the life of God.
However at that time, Satan, who had been banished from the heavens, was on the earth. In other words, man received anointing as a being to defeat and rule over Satan and for this, man was created according to the image of God. However, man surrenders under Satan’s temptations. Not only that, he eats the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which God had commanded him not to eat from. This is apart from the purpose God had created man with, and eventually God decides to judge man.

Therefore, not a person is in God's complete favor. This is because we do not have the original image in which God created us. We are now the image of beings without the life of God, submitting to Satan and committing sin following his temptations. Even the kindest person can not win Satan. Defeating Satan means the person must have the life of God, and at this time, that person does not exist.

Because of this, there is no hope for man in front of God. It is because we must enter into eternal judgment as beings who have lost God's life. God sent a true person to conquer Satan in such a world. That person is Jesus. The true being, Jesus, comes to accomplish what man had failed.
Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. What Jesus is image of God means first john chapter3 versus 8. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

This means that He came as the one to defeat Satan, in rule of the world now, and to rule.
Therefore, the only hope left to people who lost the life of God is Jesus. Since Jesus is the one who has come in God's image, in other words, with God's life, anyone who believes in Him takes part in eternal life.

From the very beginning, man was created solely for God. Therefore, if a man lives for himself, then he is far from the purpose he was created for by God. In other words, it is a state that does not please God. However, all men are living for themselves right now. They live for their own happiness. Although there are many people who call on God, this calling is just for selfish purposes instead of confessing and repenting their sins for having lived apart from the purpose with which they were created for by God. God is angry and gives His judgment on such people.
God made man from dirt. Dirt is dust. This means that man is insignificant. By breathing the breath of life of God, man became a glorious being.

Therefore, man must be grateful that they have gone from being an insignificant being to becoming a glorious being by the life of God. If they realize that there is nothing more glorious than to have the life of God, they will not try to become a more glorious being on their own. However in failure, man ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and gave in to Satan.

Now, the value of man's existence in front of God depends on whether they have the life of God or not. No matter how noble the person is by the world, if they do not have the life of God, they are beings of Satan who will be judged. Therefore, believing in Jesus who came to the world by the life of God means becoming the most excellently glorious being in the world, and this is called blessing.
